The Oklahoma City Thunder and Orlando Magic are both exceeding expectations this season, and it’s made them interesting teams to target in the prop market on a nightly basis.

Tonight, these teams face off on TNT in what should be one of the best games of the night. Oklahoma City would love to pick up a win as a road favorite, but the Magic are the best team in the NBA against the spread at home.

That’s led to me looking at the prop market for my favorite bets, and there are two Thunder players to consider targeting in this matchup:

Thunder vs. Magic best NBA prop bets

  • Jalen Williams OVER 18.5 points
  • Markelle Fultz OVER 7.5 points
  • Josh Giddey OVER 9.5 assists and rebounds

Jalen Williams OVER 18.5 points

Over his last five games, Jalen Williams has scored 20 or more points four times, including a 32-point outing in the team’s win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

Williams has cleared this total in 26 of his 47 games this season, averaging an impressive 18.9 points per game while shooting 54.0 percent from the field and 45.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Orlando is one of the better defensive teams in the NBA, but this number feels a little low for Williams given the hot streak he’s been on scoring the ball.

Markelle Fultz OVER 7.5 points

If you’re going to bet on a Magic player tonight, Markelle Fultz may be a little undervalued due to a couple down scoring games as of late.

Fultz is averaging 8.6 points per game, but he’s scored just seven points in his last two games. Prior to that, he’d cleared 7.5 points in eight of his previous nine outings.

The usage has been pretty solid for Fultz, seeing at least six shots in all but one of his last 11 games, and I think that gives him enough of a floor against an OKC team that wouldn’t mind to play this game at a little pace (the Thunder rank 10th in the NBA in pace this season).

Go OVER for Fultz in this matchup.

Josh Giddey OVER 9.5 assists and rebounds

Earlier this season, Josh Giddey registered 12 rebounds and assists against Orlando, and he’s averaging 6.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game on the season. Yet, his total is all the way down at 9.5 in this game.

That’s partly because Orlando allows the fewest assists per game in the NBA this season, but this is still way too low for Giddey.

The Thunder wing has cleared 9.5 rebounds and assists in 29 of his 52 games this season. If Giddey sees around the mid-20s in minutes, he should stuff the stat sheet enough to go OVER this total.
