Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder will go against up James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the PayCom Center. The Thunder will look to snap the Clippers' nine-game winning streak.

The Clippers are coming off a nine-point win over the Mavericks on Wednesday night. Oklahoma City has a winning streak of its own as they have won four consecutive games at home.

Los Angeles opened as 1.5-point road favorites, but now the Thunder are 4.5-point home favorites ahead of tip-off.

Clippers vs. Thunder key players to watch

Los Angeles Clippers

James Harden: The star point guard has played outstanding basketball this month, which has helped the Clippers win nine straight games. Harden is averaging 19.8 points, 9.9 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game. He’s also shooting 49.5% from the field and 45.5% from beyond the arc. Earlier this week, the 34-year-old Harden scored 35 points on 12-of-16 shooting from the field and 8-of-11 from three-point range.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Chet Holmgren: The 21-year-old Holmgren continues to show why he should be in the running for Rookie of the Year. The former No. 2 overall pick is averaging 16.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game. Holmgren is a factor on both sides of the court, which is going to help the Thunder throughout the regular season.

Clippers vs. Thunder prediction and pick

The Clippers have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA this month, winning nine straight games by 12.4 points per game. Los Angeles is scoring 125.3 points per game over this stretch and playing outstanding defense (112.8 points per game allowed).

James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George have all played their parts during this winning streak and will be tough tonight, despite playing on Wednesday night against Dallas. As for the Thunder, they’ve won four consecutive games at home. Oklahoma City has been a good team at home (9-4) as they are ranked sixth in scoring (123.2 ppg), but 12th in scoring defense (115.9 ppg).

The Thunder are 7-2 against the spread as a home favorite, while the Clippers are 1-4 ATS as a road underdog and 2-2 ATS on the second game of back-to-back this season. If Paul George is out for the second straight game, I like the Thunder’s chance to cover. Oklahoma City’s last four wins at home have come against the Warriors and Lakers.
