The Oklahoma City Thunder entered this game against the Portland Trailblazers, vying for the top spot in the Western Conference. This just weeks after the Thunder knocked off the Blazers to the tune of a 63 point victory.
After two days off, the Thunder finally returned to the Paycom Center following a four-game road swing, but for one night only before heading to San Antonio to take on Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs as part of NBA's Rivalry week.
This was a sloppy game out of the gate for the Oklahoma City Thunder, while the Blazers seemed motivated to earn revenge over the Thunder.
OKC Thunder pulled off a miracle win over the Portland Trailblazers thanks to a Jalen Williams buzzer-beater, and the NBA Social Media world reacted.
The Oklahoma City Thunder saw 17 lead changes and eight ties, and the Thunder once got down nine points after blowing a 13-point advantage.
OKC never had it tonight, between their sluggish defense and subpar shooting splits, turning in 48 percent from the floor, 30 percent from deep, and just 64 percent from the charity stripe.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander turned in 33 points, ten assists, six rebounds, and five steals while shooting 41 percent from the floor but missing a trio of freebies. Gilgeous-Alexander tied it up at the line on the second technical free throw after Chauncey Billups was ejected from this game.

From there, Jalen Williams nailed an 18-footer to put OKC in the lead by two; going to his left, he hit a fallaway jumper in the mid-range, where he has dominated all year long.

With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stealing the ensuing sideline out-of-bounds lob play to seal the win, Jalen Williams raced to mid-court to celebrate with the erupting crowd. This was a miracle comeback after Simon's three late gifted Portland an over 70 percent rim probability in this game.

For a second-year guy to have the poise to hit that shot is so, so good.
