1. Isaiah Hartenstein

Probably the name most linked to the Thunder this summer is Isaiah Hartenstein. Coming off a strong season with the Knicks, Hartenstein checks all the boxes of what OKC needs.

In 75 games last season, Hartenstein averaged 7.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per night. The Thunder don’t need someone who is going to score 15 points a night at the five. Standing at 7 feet, he would truly be a force in the paint for OKC.

Last season for the Knicks, Hartenstein racked up 1.1 blocks per game. Having a force like him alongside Chet Holmgren down low would be a dangerous duo inside.

According to ESPN front office insider Bobby Marks, Hartenstein’s next contract is projected to start in the range of around $13-14 million a year. After the extension of OG Anunoby, New York is left limited with what they can do financially. Due to this, they will more than likely have to let Hartenstein walk this summer.

While there are definitely other suitors out there for the 26-year-old, due to their cap space and fit with the team, Oklahoma City sits atop the list as favorites to land him during free agency.
