6. Nikola Vucevic

We’ve already seen the Bulls and Thunder make one deal this offseason and this idea would involve another. There is no question that Chicago is looking to retool their team and go younger. For that to happen, they need to fully commit by moving on from their two-time All-Star center, Nikola Vučević.

Vuc arrived in Chi-Town midway through the 2020-2021 NBA season. Since then they have tried to be competitive, pairing him with All-Star Zach LaVine and signing another All-Star in DeMar DeRozan.

Unfortunately for the Bulls, things have never fully come together in the Windy City during this tenure and they are now forced with the decision to change it up.

In each of the last six seasons, Vucevic has averaged no less than 17.6 points per game. Scoring isn’t all he does, though, as he’s also averaged double-digit rebounds in the last six seasons.

Vucevic is a double-double machine and would be an absolute unit in the paint alongside Chet Holmgren.

While most Bulls fans likely don’t want to do any more deals with the Thunder after not receiving a single pick for Alex Caruso, they would surely get something in return for their 6-foot-10 center.

He is under contract through the 2025-2026 NBA season, and for a team like the Bulls who desperately need to let go of the past, trading Vucevic is a good way to start. Lucky for them, the Thunder just might be the perfect suitors.
