The one-year, injury-induced wait to see Chet Holmgren finally suit up for the OKC Thunder ultimately proved to be well worth it, as the big man has quickly established himself as one of the top three options on the Western Conference's reigning top-seeded roster.

With his sensational shooting touch that saw him cash in on 53.0 percent of his attempts from the floor and 37.0 percent of his attempts from distance to his astounding defensive chops that had him register the second-most blocks on the season (190), the 22-year-old put forth a tremendous first season in the association and, with his efforts, was named to the All-Rookie First-Team and was runner-up for the illustrious Rookie of the Year award.

However, as any star in the league will tell you, the goal with every passing season is to continue to grow as a player and to try and improve upon every aspect of one's game, and, based on his offseason training clips, it appears Holmgren is working through this summer with such a mentality.

Thunder star Chet Holmgren putting in work with Kevin Durant & others

Footage from hoops trainer Jamal Lovell has shown Holmgren grinding it out behind the scenes with numerous stars from across the league, with a particularly notable one being former Thunder great, Kevin Durant.

Of course, individual work has also seemingly been a major emphasis of his offseason routine, as he was recently seen working on his footwork and a shimmy spin move in the close-to-mid range with Lovell's company, Dashletics.

Following a phenomenal rookie campaign that saw him average 16.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.3 blocks per game, the goal heading into year two is to try and up the ante in all of these aforementioned categories, while, hopefully, bulking up and getting stronger along the way.

These continually surfacing clips are exciting for fans to see, and his work with a fellow Slim Reaper like Durant should only help advance his on-court game even further.
