4 greatest All-Rookie Team selections in OKC Thunder history
By Kyle Lander
The OKC Thunder have officially only been a part of the NBA since 2008 yet have already managed to roster some of the most talented players to ever grace the NBA hardwood. Players like Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and James Harden are the most notable.
Now, it is looking like they may be adding even more names to their illustrious list.
The NBA announced on Monday the All-Rookie First and Second teams, and both Chet Holmgren and Cason Wallace made the cut for each, respectively.
With this turnout, the Thunder now see the sixth and seventh players from throughout their franchise's history to be named to an All-Rookie team.
For Holmgren, his selection to the first team was unanimous, as he received 99 votes. The only other player on the first team to garner the same amount of votes is fellow rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama from the San Antonio Spurs.
However, let's not forget about the other rookie on the Thunder. Cason Wallace finished on the Second Team All-Rookie roster, though netted two first-team votes along with his 63 second-team nods.
As is the case with success, a fun activity always seems to be comparing things to years past. Conversations of what's better and what's worse take center stage in such discussions, and, when looking at this year's All-Rookie selections, Thunder fans may be wondering where they stack up against the other players who earned such honors from years past.
Today, we give our rankings of the top-four All-Rookie selected talents in Oklahoma City history.
