Jalen Williams is a bonafide star player already for the Thunder

Jalen Williams may just be a second-year, but he is already arguably the second-best player on this team fighting for the top seed in perhaps the toughest conference in the entire association.

J-Dub led the team in scoring with 26 points against NOLA, but none were bigger than his dagger bucket in the fourth quarter and his two free-throws late that iced the win for the Thunder.

The emerging star has been as efficient as ever, and this flowed right along into Tuesday's bout where he shot 9-of-18 from the field, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.

In the month of March, Williams averaged 19.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, including 1.7 steals. He has also shot at an insanely efficient clip of 56.6/46.3/87.5 for an impressive 66.2 true shooting rate.

With his fourth-quarter exploits, he only trails behind Sacramento Kings star DeAarron Fox with the most fourth-quarter points since January 1st, attesting to his performances in the clutch with the Thunder.

Jalen Williams has been a total package player for the OKC Thunder. On both ends, he has been terrific. No matter what position or role he plays, Williams provides quality play whenever he is on the floor.

Certainly, any championship team would love to have him.
