Since being bounced by the Dallas Mavericks six games into last year's Western Conference Semifinal series, fans and pundits have been counting down the days until they can see this OKC Thunder team return to the hardwood.

After winning 57 games on the year and becoming the youngest team in league history to secure a top seed in the standings, Oklahoma City is projected to be even better during the coming 2024-25 campaign due, in large, to GM Sam Presti's offseason efforts.

Though they still may be roughly a month out from regular season's tip-off, Monday will serve as the official start to the preseason as the Thunder will be taking part in the league's annual Media Day.

During the day-long event, the organization will take part in a number of different activities, and there are several details fans may want to know about as we head into the festivities.

Key details heading into OKC Thunder Media Day

What is Media Day?

Media Day is universally accepted as the kick-off to NBA training camps and is a time when teams hold open practice sessions with media members in attendance.

On top of on-court work, photos will be taken of players and coaching staff, interviews will be conducted, and, often, fans are allowed to interact with their favorite members of the organization.

Who will be in attendance?

Media Day will see a slew of familiar faces make themselves available for the day-long event.

From returning stars like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams to stud newcomers in Isaiah Hartenstein and Alex Caruso, and key coaching staff members such as reigning COY, Mark Daigneault, the Thunder will be well represented.

Perhaps most notably, the club's incoming rookie class (including presumed red-shirt lottery pick, Nikola Topic) is expected to be in attendance, which will give fans a first look at OKC's youngsters

What time will Thunder Media Day start?

Scattered throughout the day, 27 other teams will find themselves participating in their own Media Days, with their respective start times varying.

For the Thunder, they'll be kicking things off at 11 AM (CT).

What is the location of Thunder Media Day?

After undergoing a whopping $20 million of renovations last year, visiting Paycom Center is truly a sensational experience on its own. Because of this, it should come as no surprise that the OKC Thunder view the venue as the ideal location for their Media Day activities in 2024-25.

How to watch Thunder Media Day?

According to NBA.com, live coverage for Monday's Media Day can be found on NBA TV from 12-4 PM (CT) and then on NBA.com and the NBA App from 6-6 PM (CT).
