The Oklahoma City Thunder are back in action on Tuesday in the Paycom Center as the Minnesota Timberwolves come to town. The OKC Thunder have already dropped a game to the Timberwolves this season, and Minnesota seems to present a tough matchup for the Thunder.

The road to protecting their home court on the first leg of a home-home back-to-back could be a bit tough for Oklahoma City. Not only is Minnesota the best team in the Western Conference, with a 22-6 record, but the Thunder might miss a key piece of their rotation.

For the OKC Thunder, they look to get back on track after stumbling against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. Still, sitting with the third-best record at 18-9, the Thunder will try to even the score against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In Thursday's tilt with the L.A. Clippers, Josh Giddey left the game in the first half with a gnarly ankle injury that held him out of Saturday's contest with the Purple and Gold. Giddey was upgraded to questionable for tonight's clash with the Timberwolves.

As Tuesday progressed, so did Giddey, and now the Oklahoma City Thunder have upgraded Josh Giddey all the way to active. Giddey is projected to slot back into the starting five for Mark Daigneault in this contest against Minnesota.

Though the Oklahoma City Thunder are not out of the woods yet, they could be without a key starter against Minnesota.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have tabbed Jalen Williams as questionable for Minnesota due to an illness. The Santa Clara wing will have his game status updated around 5:15 tonight as Mark Daigneault speaks with the local media prior to Tip-off.

UPDATE: Jalen Williams is active tonight against Minnesota.

Minnesota saw star big man Karl-Anthony Towns miss their last contest against Sacramento with a knee injury that is believed to be precautionary. However, the Timberwolves still list Towns as questionable ahead of tonight's tilt with the Thunder.
