The road to protecting their home court on the first leg of a home-home back-to-back could be a bit tough for Oklahoma City. Not only is Minnesota the best team in the Western Conference, with a 22-6 record, but the Thunder might miss a key piece of their rotation.

In Thursday's tilt with the L.A. Clippers, Josh Giddey left the game in the first half with a gnarly ankle injury that held him out of Saturday's contest with the Purple and Gold. Giddey was upgraded to questionable for tonight's clash with the Timberwolves.
As Tuesday progressed, so did Giddey, and now the Oklahoma City Thunder have upgraded Josh Giddey all the way to active. Giddey is projected to slot back into the starting five for Mark Daigneault in this contest against Minnesota.
Though the Oklahoma City Thunder are not out of the woods yet, they could be without a key starter against Minnesota.
