3 NBA Draft prospects Thunder should be monitoring after landing No. 12 pick
By Kyle Lander
Tristan Da Silva
The Colorado forward is someone with a game that could fit in quite nicely with this Thunder team should the ball club nab him at number 12.
He can score from beyond the arc and in the paint while still defending at a high rate from numerous areas on the hardwood. This past season, Da Silva finished with 16.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while shooting at a rather efficient 49 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from beyond the arc.
Another thing he flashed in college was his ability to pass and make decisions off the dribble. This is important for the Thunder as they love for all five guys on the court to be able to grab a board, run the floor and make high-level decisions with the ball in their hands.
Most importantly, he brings a little more height to the team. Although he may not be the heftiest of talents, as he weighs in at around just 220 pounds, he would still add some much-needed size to OKC's frontcourt, measuring in at 6-foot-9. With this, he could be utilized either as a forward who can come off the bench or start at the four next to Holmgren.
