The OKC Thunder are coming off a historic 2023-24 campaign where they became the youngest team in NBA history to clinch a top-seed in a conference standings while advancing to their first second-round appearance in nearly a decade.

Of course, considering their ultimate goal is to win an NBA Championship, their semifinal exit made last year something to improve upon, not replicate, which is why Sam Presti and company came into the offseason guns ablazing as they searched for ways to improve the franchise's chances of winning their first ever Larry O'Brien Trophy.

With the additions of Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency and Alex Caruso via trade, Oklahoma City managed to shore up two crucial sore spots within their rotation in size and backcourt shooting.

Nevertheless, regardless of these moves, the Thunder still find themselves with arguably their most glaring weakness in a lack of secondary creators, which is something that proved to "haunt" them during their 2024 postseason run.

With their available roster space (Nikola Topic is slated to be redshirted due to injury) and their treasure trove of assets, OKC could very realistically look to add on another talent who could fill this void within coach Mark Daigneault's rotation, and there are a number of names, in particular, that are worth monitoring closely.
