Kelly Olynyk
The OKC Thunder may have gone out and added some much-needed size and strength to their previously featherweight frontcourt, but this is not to say that they shouldn't be open to adding other bigs to their arsenal.
On top of this, should they be willing to continue stockpiling, they may also want to consider targeting big men who can space the floor and make up for Isaiah Hartenstein (career 31.0 percent long-range shooter) shot-making deficiencies.
In the event that they seek out such a commodity, Kelly Olynyk just might be one of the more ideal options to consider.
Measuring in at an incredibly intimidating 6-foot-11, 240 pounds, the veteran has managed to establish himself as one of the finest shooting centers in the entire association throughout his 11-year tenure in the league.
Throughout this span, Olynyk has gone on to drop averages of 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists on 48.5 percent shooting from the floor and 36.9 percent shooting from deep.
He's also taken part in five separate playoff runs during his career, one of which being as a member of the Miami Heat where he went on to drop an impressive stat-line of 11.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists on 41.2 percent shooting from deep during their 2020 NBA Finals appearance.
Despite being somewhat of an elder statesman at this stage in his career, heading into this upcoming campaign the center finds himself on the youth-movement roster with the Toronto Raptors and, in turn, is likely not slated to receive all that meaningful of minutes throughout the season.
Still with plenty left in his tank -- as seen from his averages of 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds on 38.7 percent shooting from deep averages last year -- and ample experience that could benefit any contending team in need of size, the Thunder may want to keep close tabs on Olynyk moving forward.
