Jerami Grant

With Lauri Markkanen now seemingly off the table with his recent contract extension to stay with the Utah Jazz, Jerami Grant has officially slotted in as the most notable player that's rumored to be available on the trade market.

Per recent reports, trading either Anfernee Simons or Grant before training camp is "definitely the goal" for the Portland Trail Blazers.

While the Thunder may already be set at point guard, they could certainly use an upgrade to their power forward position -- Jalen Williams was great in the role last season but, considering he's 6-foot-5, his natural position is at the three --, and bringing someone in who's already familiar with the Loud City culture like the 30-year-old could make a ton of sense.

Since departing from Oklahoma City back in 2019, Grant has established himself as a lethal two-way forward who's capable of putting up sensational numbers on any given night.

Over the last four seasons, the veteran has stuffed the stat sheet with stellar per-game averages of 20.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and just shy of a block while shooting at an efficient 37.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Plugging this kind of potential into the rotation as either a starter (thus sliding Hartenstein to the backup pivot position, which may actually make some serious sense) or a change-of-pace sixth man could be a major boost for this championship-aspiring club to have.
