Trey Lyles

Trey Lyles may not have been one of the most heavily utilized players within Team Canada's rotation this summer, but he's still someone who has proven himself to be a solid contributor at the NBA level and plays a position the Thunder could seriously use more bolstering at down at power forward.

Measuring in at 6-foot-9, 234 pounds the 28-year-old boasts an ideal size to slot in at multiple frontcourt positions, while his clean shooting stroke (has shot 36.2 percent from deep since 2019-20) allows him to help space the floor, an attribute Oklahoma City could only benefit from adding to their big man arsenal.

Though he may not have received all that many opportunities in this year's Olympic games, during last season's run with the Kings he further strengthened his status of being a consistent and efficient two-way contributor, as he was a menacing interior presence and a reliable long-range shooter who finished with averages of 7.2 points and 4.4 rebounds on 38.4 percent shooting from deep.

On top of his impressive play at a position of need as well as his Team Canada connection with both Gilgeous-Alexander and Lu Dort, Lyles is also a University of Kentucky alumni, which only furthers the depths of his link to the Thunder cornerstone.
