Pros and cons of Thunder potentially trading for Jerami Grant

Pro: Familiarity with playing in Oklahoma City
Some may forget, but, just a few years back, Jerami Grant called Loud City home.
From the mid-way period of 2016-17 through 2018-19 the forward spent his time serving as a key contributor within the Thunder's rotation, seeing as many as 32.7 minutes a night during his final season with the club before being traded during the summer of 2019 as a result of their rebuilding efforts.
While he may have initially been rather accepting of his dismissal from the organization, going as far as to compare the team to "a sinking ship," now five years removed and in the prime stages of his career, perhaps he may be equally as fond of the idea of returning to OKC as a way to help guide both the team and himself to a first-ever championship.
Last he laced them up in the orange, blue, and yellow threads he was just five years into his professional career and still managed to produce as a true two-way force for the club (13.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks on 49.7 percent shooting from the floor and 39.2 percent shooting from deep).
Now, entering his 11 season and with plenty of experience under his belt, the 30-year-old, who is fresh off a season where he dropped 21.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 40.2 percent shooting from deep, could be ready to be that difference-maker for the title-hopeful Thunder and, with an already established familiarity with what it takes to succeed in Oklahoma City, he should be ready to do so right away.
