13) Lindy Waters III

Over the course of the 2023-2024 season, Lindy Waters only appeared in 38 games for the Thunder. In that time he averaged 3.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest. While he was able to shoot 47 percent from the field throughout the season, he had by far the least impact on the club’s immense success this year.

Now, this isn’t to say Waters didn’t contribute to winning.

He was the second leading scorer on the G-League champion OKC Blue team, as he averaged 21.8 points per night. Considering he was balancing playing in NBA and G-League games on his two-way contract, Waters was able to claim an overall sound season for himself.

In February of 2024, Oklahoma City announced that they had signed Lindy Waters to a multi-year contract extension. The former Oklahoma Cowboy is signed through the 2024-2025 season.

While much of his experience playing in the NBA this season came in garbage time minutes, he is always ready to suit up and is constantly picking up his team and his community.

In April of 2024, Waters was named a finalist for the NBA Social Justice Champion Award. While he might not be known for his impact on the court, Lindy Waters is always there to support his team.
