After dropping two straight games, Monday night, the OKC Thunder redeemed themselves in quite a significant way as they stormed back late in their latest bout against the Dallas Mavericks to claim their second win of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Despite coming off of a dubious late-game showing during their previous contest, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander snapped back into his MVP-deserving self during the highly contested fourth quarter of Game 4, as he paved the way with 10 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block while shooting 57.1 percent during this crucial stretch.

Behind his excellence and four-straight makes during a near-two minute stretch mid-way through the period, the Thunder went on to take back control of the lead after starting out being down by four and never went back, as they ultimately went on to claim the game with a final score of 100-96.

Following the victory, Gilgeous-Alexander was asked to describe his thoughts on just how vital his heroics were during crunch time of the contest, with one reporter questioning if he felt his eight-straight points midway through the fourth was considered "one of the bigger stretched" of his career.

In response, the 25-year-old provided an entertaining answer that sheds light on just how memorable his late-game production was in his eyes.

"Yea, [it was] probably one of the most meaningful. This was probably the most meaningful game I've played in in my career."

Seemingly a man on a mission right from the jump, Gilgeous-Alexander went on to have one of the best games of his postseason career, as he would registered a stellar stat-line of 34 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks while shooting 51.9 percent from distance.

Though the star guard now believes this latest outing was his "most meaningful" to date, the hope for Oklahoma City faithful is that, should they embark on a much deeper journey than just round two, he'll wind up coming across many more contests that surpass Monday's Game 4.

As a result of his play and frankly, an entire team effort, the Thunder now head back to Paycom Center for a Wednesday night Game 5 with the series tied at 2-2.
