Duds: Josh Giddey, Chet Homgren, Lu Dort, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

A sheer lack of composure at the end of the outside cost the Thunder in Game 3.

Firstly, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander knows better in the clutch than he did in this loss.

The MVP runner-up launched an ill-advised three with 18 seconds left still on the shotclock in the final minute of the game. Granted, if that shot went in, the Thunder would have tied things up, but easily the better decision would have been to capitalize on his mismatch against Lively and drive to the basket.

On another possession in the final minute, he lacked the poise to create a better look, hurting the team with an offensive foul that sealed their fate.

Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren and Lu Dort were defensive studs in the game, but their offensive performance held the team back as their shooting proved to be a liability in the series.

Holmgren shot 0-of-2 in Game 3, and went 1-of-8 in the past two games. Lu Dort, on the other hand, chucked up seven three-point attempts but only made two.

Dallas lived with these guys shooting the three, knowing they struggle to capitalize on their looks. If the Thunder were to comeback from this hole, they need Holmgren and Dort to be two-way threats for the rest of the series.

Lastly, Giddey once again played a dismal 13 minutes and was constantly beaten off the dribble on defense. He was a target on switches as his resistance was non-existent.

He had nine points, however, and made four of his eight shots to somewhat make up for that weakness.
