3. Jalen Williams

J-Dub, as he is affectionately called by Thunder fans to not be confused with teammate Jaylin Williams, is quickly becoming one of the best young players in the NBA. He finished second to Paolo Banchero in Rookie of the Year and has taken another massive leap in year two. Williams will be a multiple-time All-Star if the 22-year-old continues this trajectory.

He is averaging 19.2 points, 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 31.6 minutes per game in year two. The 6’5 wing is one of the most efficient scorers in the league by shooting 54.1 percent from the field, 44.1 percent on his 3-point attempts, and 81.5 percent from the free throw line. Williams may not be a household name, but it is coming quickly. There is already no stopping the 22-year-old, and he is years away from his peak.

Williams is also the perfect fit with their other marquee talents. He is comfortable spacing the floor and operating as a versatile defender. The 6’5 wing will defer to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or take over when needed. Being the perfect complement to another elite talent is what makes the Thunder so terrifying.

Oklahoma City is just getting started and will only get better as Jalen Williams improves and a fellow star adds some mass to play center full-time.
