5. DeMar DeRozan

The Thunder will explore every avenue this summer, and adding another star is on the table. They are third in offensive rating, but can the franchise maintain it in the playoffs? They will get their first chance this year. If Oklahoma City falters, adding a former All-Star with playoff experience could be on the horizon.

DeRozan is an elite scorer with strong playmaking and rebounding chops. He is averaging over 20 points per game for the 11th straight season. The 34-year-old is a six-time All-Star with seven years of playoff experience. He is still chasing his first championship but could be a difference-maker on the Thunder.

How would Oklahoma City divide the ball-handling duties? DeRozan is one of the best mid-range shooters in the NBA but is not known for his 3-point shooting. He has made 29.5 percent of his career long range attempts and is sinking a career-high 0.9 triples per game this season. The Bulls are not contenders, but can DeRozan lift the Thunder to another level?

This fit would have some kinks to figure out, but there are not many chances to add a six-time All-Star who is still an elite scorer. DeMar DeRozan would have to take a pay cut to join the Thunder, but it could be his best chance to contend for a championship. OKC may be looking for a more seamless fit with multiple rings.
