Which franchise won the Poku trade?

The Thunder moved up in the draft to select a bust. That is never ideal and firmly puts them at the bottom of this trade.

All three teams have gone from outside the playoffs to serious contenders since this move. The Timberwolves made the conference finals in 2024 as the Thunder got back to the playoffs and advanced to the second round. New York lost Game 7 in the second round as injuries prevented them from getting further.

McDaniels has become an elite perimeter defender, but Quickley has blossomed into a starting point guard in Toronto. An argument can be made for both sides. The Wolves get the slight edge because Ricky Rubio remained a solid role player. Minnesota got two in their package, which was better than one for New York. The Timberwolves had the worst first-round pick, but their choice swayed things in their favor.

Give the Knicks a solid B for this deal. Getting Immanuel Quickley in the late first round was fantastic and helped New York return to contention.

Minnesota gets a B-plus. They found a key rotation player with the 28th selection. Bolmaro turned into a bust, and the Timberwolves flipped Rubio for Taurean Prince and a second-round pick one year later.

Both of those franchises made out well in this deal, but what grade does Oklahoma City earn four years later?
