The Oklahoma City Thunder heated up down the stretch, winning its final five regular season games (and seven of 10 overall) to grab the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.

The Thunder were in a three-way race for the west’s top seed throughout the season with the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves, but were able to pull out the top seed by way of a tiebreaker with Denver.

Despite the No. 1 seed, the Thunder’s work is still cut out for them if they want to win the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Championship odds

Oklahoma City may be the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs, but that doesn’t mean the Thunder are one of the favorites to win it all.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Oklahoma City is tied with the Philadelphia 76ers as the fifth-favorite to win the NBA Finals at +1600 ($100 bet wins $1600). That carries an implied probability of just 5.88% that the Thunder will hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy this June.

They are behind the Boston Celtics (+165), Denver Nuggets (+300), Los Angeles Clippers (+1400) and Milwaukee Bucks (+1400) on the odds board.

Oklahoma City tied for second favorite to win Western Conference

Oklahoma City might have home court advantage throughout the postseason, but the Thunder are still tied as the second favorite to reach the NBA Finals.

According to FanDuel, Oklahoma City and the LA Clippers are +600 to win the west, trailing the favored Nuggets at +135. The 6-to-1 price carries an implied probability of 14.29% that Oklahoma City will reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2012.
