For the fourth and final time in the regular season, the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on their divisional rival – the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Thunder are 3-0 in this matchup so far this season, posting two wins by more than 40 points, but the last meeting between these teams ended up being a two-point win for OKC.
The Blazers are in a tough spot right now, as they are rebuilding and have several key players out of the lineup due to injuries.
Can the team hang around against OKC?

Thunder vs. Blazers key players to watch
Oklahoma City Thunder
Chet Holmgren: Holmgren hasn’t exactly played his best against Portland this season, scoring just eight points in his last meeting with the Blazers, but he did block six shots in that game. The rookie big man has put together a solid stretch since Jan. 31 (14 games), averaging 18.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.
Portland Trail Blazers
Anfernee Simons: The Blazers guard enters this matchup off of back-to-back 30-point games, including a 34-point showing against the No. 1 defense in the NBA – the Minnesota Timberwolves – on Monday. Simons missed the first meeting with the Thunder and has scored just 14 and 17 points in the two other games against them. If he has a big game, the Blazers may have a chance to cover.
Thunder vs. Blazers prediction and pick
If there is one weakness in OKC’s impressive ATS record this season, it comes as a road favorite.
The team is just 10-10 ATS in that spot this season, but I think the Thunder could be a little undervalued here.
In the two-point win in their last meeting with Portland, the Thunder could not have played worse, making just seven shots from beyond the arc and shooting 64.3 percent from the line. On the other hand, Portland made 18-of-39 3-pointers in that game, but the team still couldn’t pull out a win.
If the Thunder get back to their usual game on Wednesday, this could get ugly quick, which we’ve seen in this matchup already this season.
Plus, the Blazers are just 10-13 ATS as home dogs in the 2023-24 campaign. Give me OKC to cover on Wednesday.
Pick: Thunder - 12.5 (-110)
