Welcome back to the home of OKC Thunder in the news where we bring you topical stories from the web daily.

With the ping pong balls about to bounce, the OKC Thunder do not need to wonder where they are going to land in the draft. They have been aware for some time they are picking 21st in the upcoming draft. There is always going to be a level of debate until Adam Silver reads out the name associated with the 21st pick.

Who to draft

Kevin Haswell of Welcometoloudcity.com believes Luke Kennard from Duke is the correct name to be read. If it is Kennard, lets hope he can produce better numbers than the OKC Thunder’s other Duke alum, Kyle Singler.

"In high school, Kennard was named Mr. Basketball both his junior and senior year. He broke LeBron James’s scoring record in the state of Ohio, averaging 38.1 points per game in his senior season. In his junior season, Kennard averaged 41.0 points per game and was named a Max Preps First-Team All-American."

Kanter – Westbrook For MVP

Enes Kanter is probably on the trading block. Despite this, he is still making positive noise, even from Singapore.

Ian Kew of the Straight Times reports Kanter saying Russell Westbrook deserves to be the MVP. Any OKC Thunder supporter knows the debate was over sometime in November. However the votes still need to be cast in the point guard’s favor.

"Throughout the National Basketball Association (NBA) regular season, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Enes Kanter had a front-row seat to history unfolding. He watched as Russell Westbrook notched a record-breaking 42 triple-doubles and became only the second man to average more than 10 points, assists and rebounds in a season. That level of consistency over 82 games means his team-mate must be the clear favourite when the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award is given out on June 26, Kanter said."
