The NBA announced the three finalists for each of the six personal awards with Russell Westbrook in the running for MVP.

After the season Russell Westbrook delivered it wasn’t a surprise he would be among the three players confirmed in the running for Most Valuable Player. Still, it was a nice way for Westbrook to complete a week chock full of personal celebrations. The Brodie began the week by welcoming his first child, when wife Nina gave birth to baby boy Noah Russell Westbrook. Thursday he learned he made the All-NBA first team.

Here’s the list of Awards and three finalists in each category:

Most Valuable Player:

Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder

Stats: 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 10.4 assists

Highlights:

Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs
