4. New Years Eve Return

Durant suffered a sprained ankle versus Golden State, an injury that kept him on the bench for six games. Still, KD returned in style, putting together his best statistical performance of the season in an overtime thriller against Phoenix, dropping 44 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.

With the Thunder down one and missing Russell Westbrook (who was ejected after receiving two questionable technical fouls) Durant did what the Slim Reaper had to do many times during his MVP season, putting the team on his back without the superstar teammate and leading them to victory. Kevin hit a few clutch free throws and a monster three down the stretch as OKC ultimately won out 137-134 over the Suns.
