Jamal Crawford

Age: 36  Height: 6’5″  Weight: 195

2015-16 Stats: 14.2 points, 2.3 assists, 1.8 rebounds

When it comes to the Sixth Man role it doesn’t get much better than Jamal Crawford. He’s won three Sixth Man of the Year Awards during his career, which is an NBA record. The award could practically be named after him at this point.

While he may be 36 his game doesn’t show it. He continues to average a high amount of points by creating his own shots. He’s also one of the best ball handlers in the league. Along with that he is one of the best free throw shooters every season, which is nice because he has a knack for getting to the free throw line.

Someone with his talent could be starting almost anywhere in the league, but he embraces coming off the bench. That could be a good sign for Oklahoma City if they do end up in search of a new go-to bench player. As far as salaries go, he and Dion Waiters only made about a $500,000 difference, so the money could work out if the Thunder are willing to pay a little bit more.

Crawford has recently said that he would like to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers, who are obviously a talented team. The one thing that the Thunder could use to try and persuade Crawford to leave is that the Clippers have yet to make it out of the second round of the playoffs with its current roster. Crawford may be interested in trying to win with someone else at this point, which could mean moving during free agency.
