Courtney Lee

Age: 30  Height: 6’5”  Weight: 200

2015-16 Stats: 9.6 points, 1.7 assists, 2.6 rebounds

Courtney Lee spent his career playing for a number of different teams. One thing that hasn’t changed during his career though is his role on all of these teams. His has made a name for himself as a good perimeter defender and a knock-down shooter from long range.

Being 30, he is someone who has passed his prime, yet still offers a lot to a team that is looking to improve its roster. His length and fundamentals still make him someone who can guard even the most dangerous guards. He is also still a very efficient 3-point shooter, shooting at least 37 percent from deep his last six seasons. These are two things that Oklahoma City would definitely be interested in adding to the team in free agency.

Like Crawford, Lee didn’t make much more than Waiters this past season, so the money could definitely work if he were to come to Oklahoma City. He might also be willing to take less from the Thunder than he would other teams if he wanted to be on a championship contender.

Lee has recently said that he wants to remain with the Charlotte Hornets. If the team is willing to pay him enough then he likely won’t leave, but the Hornets are still a work in progress, and he isn’t getting any younger. Don’t be surprised if he finds his way to Oklahoma City during this year’s free agency to try for a title.
