4. Danilo Gallinari

First off, shoutout Danilo Gallinari for having the coolest name in the NBA. Check that, probably the world. It just rolls off the tongue so perfectly. But I digress.

Gallinari is one of the more interesting names on this list and that’s for a couple reason. Do you remember those three beautiful games when Ersan Ilyasova played for the Thunder? He was the perfect stretch four for Russell Westbrook and Co. Well Gallinari is a much more skilled version of Ilyasova.

On an incredibly young, loaded Denver team (six players average double-digit scoring) Gallinari leads the way with a little over 17 points a game. He’s shooting 37.3% from deep on almost 5 attempts a game, and his 89% free throw places him in the top 10 in the league.

So he’s a perfect fit right? Well not really. Gallinari has a player option worth $16.1 million next season, but he’s likely to get more if he declines and enter free agency. The Thunder are not in the business of giving up assets for rental players, especially not this season. BUT, if Sam Presti can somehow work out a guarantee from Gallinari I say pull the trigger and send Enes Kanter.

I like Kanter, but Gallo would be that good in Oklahoma City.
