3. Jae Crowder

Okay okay okay. Hear me out on this one. The Celtics are not trading away Jae Crowder unless they are getting a superstar in return. Oklahoma City probably isn’t giving up Russell Westbrook, but how Prestian would it be to insert the Thunder into a three-team trade?

Remember how the Thunder got rid of Reggie Jackson? They received a boatload of players-including Enes Kanter-from the Pistons and Jazz and virtually only gave up Jackson. I could see a similar deal happening with Crowder.

Recent tweets suggest Crowder isn’t happy in Boston.

Okay so maybe he just doesn’t like the fans. Well I can guarantee Crowder would LOVE the Thunder fans. And the Thunder fans would love him right back.

I mentioned Crowder in our Christmas Roundtable and how he would be perfect for the Thunder. He’s on a cheap, long contract. At 26 he fits the perfect timetable for when Oklahoma City is expecting to peak. And he comes back every year with new improvements to his game. This year that happens to be his shooting.

He’s upped his three-point percentage from 33.6% last season to an astounding 42.3% this season on more attempts. Crowder’s defense would make up for the lack of Andre Roberson next season (sorry folks but I think he’s gone).

In a perfect world, Jae Crowder will be in Oklahoma City by the end of February.
