4. Rebounding

Another huge aspect of playoff basketball is which team can rebound the ball better. It is essential to be able to go up and get the ball because shots are not always going to be falling. The Thunder are the best rebounding team in the entire league and their starting five is ridiculously talented at grabbing the ball.

Of the teams in the Western Conference playoffs the Thunder are far and away the best rebounders. OKC will need to focus on getting those defensive rebounds because the Rockets are too good to give them second and third chances.

The Thunder’s defensive rebounds will also be the big lead to their fast breaks. The reason why Westbrook has so many rebounds this year is because it is what is best for the team.

When Westbrook is leading a charge down the court he is arguably the most unstoppable player in the league. Expect the Thunder to grab the rebounds, get the ball in Westbrook’s hands, and get to running.
