“There’s a lot of room for us to grow… and that’s the upside of it all.”

“We stuck together as a team. To me, that’s the most important part… with everything happening last summer, people counted us out… but we stuck together and that’s the thing I’m most proud about.”

“I think there’s a lot of guys that people just give them a leader because they’re the best player. That is not how it worked for me. I think you have to earn the right to be able to say that you’re a leader – regardless of how many numbers you put up. I think you have to show leadership, and I think for me that’s what I was trying to do every single day… To be able to show the guys that I care about them as a person more than a player, and I also want them to improve as a player as well.”

“Obviously everybody knows that I like Oklahoma City and I love being here. I love everybody here, but I haven’t even thought about that. I’m worried about making sure my wife is all right…everything else really doesn’t matter at this point.”
