Thunder in the news is the one stop shop for every OKC Thunder fan – a daily post dedicated to finding the best content about their favorite team.

The schedule is here! The schedule is here! Did we learn anything of substance? No, not really. But you have to admit, it is fun knowing that November 22nd is going to be one of the most fun games of the year. Let’s talk about it.

Top ten games to watch from THE Fred Katz

So many writers got out there list – including Thunderous Intentions’ own Austin Sternlicht – but this blogger randomly decided on spotlighting Mr. Katz. Katz broke down the most important games to care about. #1 isn’t a surprise.

"The Thunder will be pushing for a top-four finish in the West. If they want to get into the top three, they may have to get by the Spurs. A couple of March wins would help."

Paul George meets up with his teammates

You love to see this. Paul George has been with Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder the last two days. On Sunday they came to his first annual fishing tournament, then Monday Royce Young reported something even better.

"At a gym on campus at UCLA, George and Westbrook went through drills and conditioning together, along with a few Thunder players, including Jerami Grant, Kyle Singler, Semaj Christon and Doug McDermott."

George and Westbrook both reside in Los Angeles so it’s kind of disconcerting that they haven’t gotten together earlier. You know what isn’t disconcerting? Jerami Grant being there 🙂

Sports fans and their obsession with Twitter

I had to blown off some steam Monday morning. It’s a shame that athletes have to get bombarded by eager fans wanting news about their favorite team: specifically Patrick Patterson during his knee procedure. I won’t ruin it for you if you haven’t read it, so click that link above 😉

"Patrick Patterson is a human being just like us. He has a life outside of basketball, outside of Russell Westbrook."
