No. 3- Steven Adams

After just one season at Pittsburgh, Steven Adams felt that he was ready to take on the NBA. He was drafted with the 12th pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, becoming the first New Zealand native to be selected as a first round pick.

At just 23-years-old, Steven Adams is quickly developing into one of the league’s top players at his position.

When he first entered the league, Adams was known for his strong defense and above-average rebounding ability. As he has gained experience in the NBA, Adams has improved his overall game, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

Adams’ ability to attack the rim has provided him with many opportunities in the team’s pick-and-roll offense. In each of the last two seasons, Adams has shot 57% or higher from the floor, and averaged a career-high 11.6 points-per-game during the 2016-2017 season.

Even though he is still very young, Adams has already made an impact in the NBA. If he continues to improve, it won’t be a surprise to see Adams join the conversation as one of the best centers in the league.
