Thunder Career Stats

2009-2013: 4.0 points, 1.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 14.4 minutes (183 games)

Eric Maynor was introduced to the Thunder in the 2009-10 season, he was one of the young guns for an up and coming Thunder squad. As a VCU star he lead his college team to a huge victory over Duke in 2007.

Maynor had leadership qualities at such a young stage in his career. I viewed him as a young veteran because he always seemed to be in such control of the game and was never shook.

Eric Maynor was emerging as one of the solid backup PGs in the league, with the potential to be a starting PG. But, Maynor’s career would hit a major bump in the road when he tore his ACL in 2012. He would miss the opportunity to play for the Thunder in the 2012 Finals and never got back to form upon his return.

Ultimately Maynor’s career was never fully recovered despite bouncing around a few more teams. He will be remembered as one of the Thunder originals.
