Thunder in the news is an OKC Thunder fan’s dream – a daily post dedicated to finding the best Oklahoma City content around the web.

Happy Hump Day Thunder Nation! It’s been an interesting past couple of days to say the least. Kevin Durant admitted to tweeting out the now infamous Thunder/Billy Donovan centered tweets. Then Enes Kanter replied. You know where we’re going with this..

Enes Kanter responds to Kevin Durant

Enes Kanter solidified himself as an Oklahoma City Thunder legend yesterday. Somebody needed to step up in response to KD – naturally it was Kanter. If you haven’t seen, here’s what he said:

Thankfully Enes threw some pettiness there at the end. He summed up everything about the Oklahoma City Thunder family – from the players and front office to the fans – in three sentences. It’s going to be difficult to say anything mean about the guy from here on out.

Andre Roberson shoots off any more controversy

Some of the Thunder went to the Oklahoma State Fair yesterday to meet with fans. At some point the KD situation was brought up to Andre Roberson; he quickly shot it down.

"“It doesn’t concern us now. He’s moved on, we’ve moved on,” Roberson said. “We’re going to try to continue to get better and grow as a team for this upcoming year, and put together a great stretch for a championship run."

This is what you want to hear from everybody else on our side. We got one shot back, now everybody else can step up and be the bigger man.

Why can’t LeBron come to Oklahoma City?

Seriously. This piece wasn’t about Oklahoma City being a target for LeBron. The premise is more about how the Thunder just get disregarded in all of these LeBron James/Russell Westbrook rumors. Obviously bringing a storied franchise back to relevance and living in Los Angeles is more enticing, but not even mentioning the team that already has one of those players PLUS Paul George just irks me. So I wrote about it.

"…it’s incredibly disrespectful to OKC to disregard them as a potential destination for the rumored Big Three. Here is their case, no matter how unrealistic the scenario may be."
