INDIANAPOLIS, IN – DECEMBER 10: Victor Oladipo /

TI Q3- Rating the Pacers current prowess and predicting if it is sustainable:

It’s not just Oladipo who is witnessing success. Indiana currently boast the sixth best offense and are seeded fifth in the East. The Pacers are on a four game win streak and halted the Cavaliers 13-game win streak.

Included in their 16 wins are victories over top squads like the Cavaliers (twice), Spurs and Raptors. Likewise their losses have come against top squads like the Celtics, Rockets (twice) and Raptors (who evened their series).

Also among their wins is a victory over the Pistons who like the Pacers were ranked as high as second not that long ago.  But, a tough schedule turn resulted in the Pistons going on a losing streak and falling from second to seventh.

Despite the explosive offense the Pacers rank 18th defensively and their bench has a negative differential. Do you envision Indiana will be able to sustain their current pace of winning or will they like Detroit be less successful once they face a tougher portion of the schedule. And, what do you think is a realistic goal for Indiana this season?
