27. . SF. Kentucky. Kevin Knox. 9. player

This was the first pick where I had several reservations about who I thought the team should take and who I think the team will take. I’ve been a big advocate of Knox but I just feel Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the better fit for the team from the Mecca.

Still, Knox is young with huge upside, so if he’s still available it won’t be a bad fit for the Knicks especially paired with the other speedster Tim Hardaway on the wing.

Full prospect preview:  School of hard Knox -Kevin Knox is ready to prove he is pro-ready

Team needs:

Although the Knicks were high on Frank Ntilikina they have seemingly moved off him playing the point and would rather add a player to fill that role. Although they added Emmanuel Mudiay rumors are they aren’t bought into him holding the starting spot. In addition, the Knicks are in dire need of adding frontcourt depth and could be even more desperate if Enes Kanter elects to opt-out, especially with Kyle O’Quinn already doing so.
