FLORENCE, ITALY – FEBRUARY 16: Awudu Abass Abass of Armani in action during the LBA Legabasket of serie A match quartes final of Coppa Italia between Olimpia EA7 Armani Milano and MIA Red October Cantu at Mandela Forum on February 16, 2018 in Florence, Italy. #31 Awudu Abass,  Forward

Abass is a 25 year old from Italy, who played basketball professionally overseas before like most of this roster, going undrafted. Abass is a long shot, but hopes to make a name for himself somewhere during the course of this summer. He started his overseas career in 2010, and his highest points-per-game total came in 2015. He averaged 13-points that year.

Before writing Abass completely off it’s important to note players like Milos Teodosic who played for years in Europe before translating their skillset to the National Basketball Association. Nothing is ever set in stone and sometimes they take longer to develop.
