The third rookie:

Notably Hamidou Diallo who was traded to the OKC Thunder on draft night won’t be officially added to the team until today (July 6th). That’s when the trade can be finalized. Although Diallo isn’t listed on the roster as per his instagram he is in Vegas. The assumption is he’ll suit p at some point possibly even as early as tomorrow (July 7th).

The above roster is what the Charlotte Hornets sent out via an official press release.

What to watch for:

More from Thunderous Intentions

The Hornets arrive with a few counterparts to Terrance Ferguson, tantalizing rookies, G-League players and some undrafted players. Their squad is much deeper and more versatile than the Thunder which should find them going deep in the tournament.

Specifically there are a few matchups to keep an eye out for in this initial game. Devonte Graham will no doubt give Hamilton, Dozier and Hall all they can handle. Malik Monk and TFerg should be another intriguing matchup. But, the player likely to steal the show is Michigan State’s Miles Bridges who’ll dominate down low and keep all the Thunder bigs actively employed in the paint
