It might be the off season for NBA basketball, but that doesn’t keep players off the court. With summer winding down, here’s the best of the OKC Thunder summer games.

It’s been a busy summer for Oklahoma City in more ways than one. While GM Sam Presti was hard at work to keep the roster in order, the players have done their part to stay in shape. The summer months are always filled with leagues, practices, workouts and camps all around the world, giving fans highlights to tide us over during the downtime.

This year has been no different, as videos continue to surface almost daily of Thunder players getting some run. And, since the season is approaching and the pick-up games come to a close, here are some of the top moments from our guys this year.

Most recently, Dennis Schroder was found overseas dominating an organized 3-on-3 game. In the 59 seconds of pure gold, the new Thunder sixth man was creating space with great ball-handling, hitting tough shots and making all the right passes. This is exactly what OKC fans want to see, as it will be up to him to improve the bench production.

While Schroder was putting in work overseas, Russell Westbrook and former Thunder guard James Harden paired up once again for Harden’s charity game. Needless to say, DeMare DeRozan and Travis Scott weren’t able to stop the former OKC teammates.

This workout may or may not have been a tool Westbrook used to recruit Blake Griffin to Oklahoma City, but it was fun to watch regardless.

While Westbrook and Harden were proving what we already know to be true, Thunder rookie Hamidou Diallo showcased his insane vertical. It wasn’t in a game or a practice, but his dunk was impressive nonetheless. If he can show this athleticism during games, Diallo and high-flying youngster Terrance Ferguson could translate to many highlights in the coming years.

In one of the more star-studded pick-up games of the summer, Paul George participated in a game featuring Kevin Durant, Rudy Gobert and many more. Unsurprisingly, Durant was the focal point of the game, but George had a lot of excellent plays himself.

Of course, this summer was also a year of team USA training camp, which always provides an unmatched group of talent in one gym. Westbrook and George were as good as ever going up against the best players in the world.

He may not be considered to be among the best players outside of Oklahoma City, but Thunder fans fully appreciate what Steven Adams is able to do. In this one-on-one game against a professional in Korea, Adams digs deep into his bag of tricks to show what all he’s capable of.

Most of those tricks stay in the bag during NBA games, so it’s not every day we see him spot up for a 3-pointer. But in this pick-up game, it was neat to watch.

This final video may not be footage of a scrimmage, but it’s still a highlight for Thunder fans. Seeing Andre Roberson on a treadmill is a sight for sore eyes. Especially since we all saw just how important he is to the Thunder when he tore his left patella tendon.
