Joel Embiid

I guess I need to  clarify my rule about superstars. Stars are exempt from this list if their only act of villainy is beating the Thunder. Because Embiid has yet to accomplish such a feat, I feel he can qualify for this list. It’s also debatable on whether you call Embiid a superstar.

He’s a rising talent for sure, but he’s played less than two full seasons and it remains to be seen if he can consistently be active and healthy.
Still, Embiid and the Thunder, particularly Westbrook, have already had their fair share of altercations. Most notably, posterizing Westbrook and giving him a hard stare down.

Later in the contest. Embiid got away with a hard foul on Westbrook, slapping him in the face. Westbrook eventually got a technical foul himself for arguing the call.

Of course, Westbrook had the last laugh as the Thunder won both games against Embiid last year. He let the rising star know about it as well.

After the game, Embiid did what he does best, troll on social media. Check out the caption.

It’s hard for me to put Embiid lower on this list because he’s such a fun guy. The OKC Thunder only play him twice a year so there’s no real chance of any ongoing animosity. Still, it will be an interesting situation to monitor going forward.
