OKC Thunder In the news: Twins for Westbrook, enter to win 2018 Sports Fan of the Year

OKC Thunder royal family is expanding the fan base by two, while each of you have an opportunity to showcase why you’re the 2018 Sports Fan of the Year.

With training camps less than a week away the NBA is active once more. Thank you Basketball Gods! Before jumping into court related news OKC Thunder fans rejoiced over a bit of local domestic news.

Twins in OKC!

Thunder Nation knew Russell and Nina Westbrook are expanding their family. However, the couple delighted the masses with substantiation they are expecting twin girls this fall.

There was a teaser of sorts when Nina Westbrook posted on instagram in early August with Son Noah cuddled up to her. At the bottom of the post were three icons of two baby faces and a heart. I speculated at the time it seemed to suggest twins were coming. Truthfully, it wasn’t much of a stretch, but it’s finally been verified. That came via a Youtube video in which the couple confirmed they are indeed expecting twin girls this fall.

Given his penchant for triple-double’s and criticism of stat padding the jokesters took to social media to tease the Brodie. All kidding aside, witnessing Russell interacting with his son Noah and how his face completely lights up, one can only imagine those two little girls stealing his heart.
