The OKC Thunder played their second preseason game tonight in Minnesota, and came away with their first victory. Topic: Thunder gives you the recap.
We’re all just trying not to think about the Andre Roberson news that broke recently. Luckily, there was an actual game of OKC Thunder basketball to help us take our minds off of it.
When it comes to injuries, sometimes it feels like this team can’t catch a break. First Russ, then KD, then Serge, and now Dre, and three of those four injuries came with complementary complications due, specifically, to hardware malfunctions. Stitches, screws, sutures… If I never heard any of those words again, I’d be fine. Unless I needed them. Actually, never mind.

Oh wait! I forgot my mind was taken off that, and I’m not thinking about it anymore. Okay. Right. The Thunder played basketball!
Steven Adams was particularly impressive in this one, going for 14 points and 13 rebounds, and just generally working over Karl-Anthony Towns.
Paul George looked silky smooth en route to his 23 points in 26 minutes. Dennis Schröder was impressive again, Alex Abrines hit one from the parking lot, and Hamidou Diallo grabbed some really nice rebounds.
