B+. . PF. Oklahoma City Thunder. JERAMI GRANT

Derrick Favors proved a difficult cover for Jerami Grant particularly early in the match. Favors got by him for an easy tip back and with his large frame he over powered Grant (seemingly far too easy). However, after scoring a quick six points Grant and Adams’ help coverage slowed Favors who managed just six more points the remainder of the contest with four coming at the stripe.

Also, Grant was uncharacteristically far too cautious offensively to start the game, but as the game progressed he eased into the player we’ve grown accustom to.

An area of growth for Grant is his ability to ascertain when to shoot from deep and when to drive. He had a particularly smart and pretty drive which ended in a sweet dunk to start the third for example.

On the night Grant scored 13 points on 6 of 11 from the field. He attempted two shots from deep connecting on one, grabbed four rebounds, added a block and was a plus +22.
