Player Grades

PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. RUSSELL WESTBROOK. B.

Russ’ uneven offensive season continues as he struggled mightily with his shot once again. The Brodie desperately needs to find consistency with his shot but luckily the Brodie is contributing in other areas of the game.

In Russ, we trust. The Bordie needs Oklahoma City and Thunder fans to stand behind him.

SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. TERRANCE FERGUSON. C+.

If C was the league average then TFerg gets a C+. The young guard played solid defense once again but had a terrible offensive game posting two points on 1-7 shooting and 0-3 from three.

He gets a C+ for his awesome defense on Brandon Ingram when he started to cook OKC from the mid-range.

A+. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. PAUL GEORGE

Paul George continued his MVP march with another impressive performance, carrying OKC’s anemic offense for the entire game. While most would be left unsettled by thousands of fans booing but PG13 took it in his stride, punishing the Lakers faithful to the tune of 37 points.

. PF. Oklahoma City Thunder. JERAMI GRANT. B

Jerami Grant had a solid game without being spectacular. He did play Brandon Ingram tough on the perimeter and was unlucky to not pick up a charge with his impressive anticipation. Grant posted 13 points and seven rebounds in 36 minutes.

Oklahoma City Thunder. STEVEN ADAMS. B-. . C

Steven Adams had an exceptional game on the glass, corraling 15 rebounds including seven offensive boards. The big Kiwi chipped in 14 points on 5-10 shooting blew a number of easy bunnies at the hoop.

Adams needs to go up strong and punish defenders on the block with his huge 265 point frame. He did deliver a solid post-game interview just to round off the victory.
