OKC Thunder Best Reserve:

A. . F. Oklahoma City Thunder. ABDEL NADER

Abdel Nader has become somewhat of a fun piece to this OKC Thunder puzzle this season. His size and shooting ability allow the Thunder to use him in unique ways. He was very important tonight, as he provided a much needed spark, especially in the fourth period. Nader finished with 9 points along with three rebounds and was one of one from deep on the night

Best Opponent:

San Antonio Spurs. LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE. A. . C

The Spurs big man was dominant tonight against the OKC Thunder. Aldridge was the steady scoring punch San Antonio needed to pair with their ludicrous string of 3-point baskets. He scored an incredible 56 points and was simply unstoppable for a majority of tonight’s game. What a monstrous game from a great player.

More from Thunderous Intentions

It was simply absurd to witness the Spurs hit their first 14, 3-point attempts. Unlucky.

That said, the OKC Thunder need to be better on the defensive end. The Spurs sliced through them with ease tonight, not a good sign for a team that is as defensive oriented as they are.

Russell Westbrook had some great passes tonight.

I forgot that once LaMarcus Aldridge got going that he is literally unstoppable with his trademark midrange shot. Terrifying stuff.

It always seems to be an entertaining battle between the OKC Thunder and the Spurs. We were treated to an offensive showcase tonight.

  • Derrick White loves to flop, but that was a nice block in the 2nd overtime.
  • The officials had some questionable calls, but let both teams play for the most part. Which was nice for a change.
