Grant sensational:

Likewise, Jerami Grant posted a career-best in point production with 25 points. Grant was constantly in the mix whether grabbing a crucial rebound, trailing a play for a putback dunk or helping defensively.

He’s growing into a quality piece of the core. It’s no wonder why Paul George said that part of his reason for re-signing with the Thunder was based on Sam Presti acknowledging the team’s commitment to bring back Grant.

Nearing 25 years old 24 years, 305 days) Grant is still growing and has yet to come close to his ceiling.

Although there are nights the OKC Thunder struggle to score the development and growth of Ferguson and Grant is highly encouraging. Perhaps we won’t fully recognize the benefit this season but looking into the future the fact each of Grant and Ferguson is capable of offering alternative scoring options means the ball can move to any of the five players.

The bigger question is how Billy Donovan will reintegrate Andre Roberson given these two players improvement. If nothing else it affords the team options which is always a positive situation to be in.
