OKC Thunder: TI editor power rankings week 15 – dog days of winter
While the Anthony Davis news and Super Bowl occupies the majority of headlines the Knicks may well have usurped both for the biggest headlines of the week. Trading Kristaps Porzingis is a gamble regardless of his 7’3″ height and uncertainty over how he’ll play upon his return.
Then again if the Knicks somehow land that coveted top draft pick (Zion Williamson) along with Kyrie and K.D. then New York will finally return to prominence after two decades of toiling in the lottery. Certainly, Irving had an opportunity to quiet the media prior to the game at Madison Square Garden but his comments only served to ignite the MSG crowd into “we want Kyrie” chants during the game.
